I'm living in Long Ashton, Somerset with the inestimably wonderful Mac, my wife as of 29^th May 1999. You can find details of our wedding and honeymoon, both of which were truly extraordinary, on Mac's website. We're both on LiveJournal and flickr, as perlmonger and ramtops and, well, perlmonger and ramtops respectively.

I have two children with a past partner, Rhiannon and Faun, and seem to have acquired a third, Clare, who's a musician, living in Norfolk and is like her mum only possibly more so. We also share the house with (currently) six cats.

Other pleasures: exploring language and the way it defines and circumscribes consciousness and communication; reading (mostly sf); cooking and eating food; playing guitar; music (eclectic in the extreme); aura and body massage; chakra work; playing; hugging; cycling; walking; dancing.
